We listened and have added both vanilla and chocolate base vegan options to our menu. This is made fresh every day. Our Vegan based in a coconut based substitute. It's delicious.

We are adding more and more gluten free options to the menu. Recently, we created a cookies 'n cream option that's gluten free! If you have an idea, please suggest it to the team. We're always looking to experiment.

TOOTIE'S STORY
Tootie's Handmade Ice Cream is a custom hand-made ice cream shop where the magic happens right in front of you. Our shop is insipred by the legacy of Ruth Howd, Tootie.
At a young age, Stephanie’s family moved from Columbus, Ohio to Camas, WA for her father’s sales job. Leaving her extended family on both sides in Ohio. Each summer, Stephanie would visit her grandparents in Loveland, Ohio for the break. This is when her love for ice cream really
developed. Her grandmother, Ruth Howd (AKA Tootie) wouldn’t eat dinner without having ice cream as her nightcap.
For years, she watched her grandmother enjoy the most important part of her day, which was eating ice cream. If a restaurant or her home didn’t have ice cream, then they were out on a mission to grab some. Ice cream has always reminded Stephanie of her beloved grandmother.
Ruth (Tootie) Howd never lost her love for ice cream. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s when she was 88 yrs old. Up until that point, my grandmother had the most impeccable memory, but things turned for the worst. She eventually was unable to recognize and remember her family. Towards the end of her life, she stopped recognizing her granddaughter, Stephanie, but if there
was a promise of ice cream during an outing or dinner, then she would agree to be present. Ruth’s love for ice cream always kept her going.
In June 2022, Stephanie purchased a rolled ice cream shop in Nolensville, TN a couple weeks after her grandmother had passed away. This purchase felt like a sign. In memory of her grandmother, she wants the shop to resemble family time and “Memories that Last” and want to donate a percentage of sales to Alzheimer’s Association in honor of her grandmother and this fight.

Do you do private events outside of your physical location?We don't currently provide services outside of our Nolensville location. However, we are preparing to provide this time of service in the future. We are seeing if this is a big demand.

How many people are allowed at private events?We suggest no more than 20 people attending the private event. More than that and it will feel extremely crowded. This event is a ton of fun and we want to make sure everyone has a chance at making ice cream.

Do children get a chance to make rolled ice cream?Due to the machine's height, we suggest a child being at least 4'11'' and over the age of 12. Parents will need to sign a waver in the event that someone gets carried away chopping their ice cream.

Could I create a private event for a sports fundraiser?Yes! If you want to do a fundraiser for your team, please contact us. We are open to creating partnerships to help you raise funds for your team.
